Size matters!

Until now, Ordinary Hazard sprinkler systems using listed antifreeze were limited to a max volume of 40 gallons, far short of what many system designs would need. freezemaster™ antifreeze is now UL listed for use in volumes up to 375 gallons in Ordinary Hazard Groups 1 & 2 occupancies as defined by NFPA 13.

freezemaster™ antifreeze is the only listed antifreeze with this volume allowance; the others have a maximum volume of only 40 gallons!

Our updated listing now contains:

“Ordinary Hazard Groups 1 & 2 can use up to 375 gallons using the dry system hydraulic design criteria, where the system hydraulics are designed as a dry system even though the system is filled with antifreeze.”

This volume increase is in addition to the benefits that have already made freezemaster™ antifreeze the sprinkler industry's most popular listed antifreeze. Our superior corrosion protection outscores other listed antifreezes and its blue color allows for easy visual verification of a complete system flush.

Using freezemaster™ antifreeze means it’s never been easier to meet NFPA’s September 30, 2022 deadline to switch to a listed antifreeze.
